Why Denny

Washington needs leaders with the civility, decency and experience to get things done. Washington’s lieutenant governor sets the tone for debate and decorum in the State Legislature, while also chairing the Legislative Committee on Economic Development & International Relations.

Denny has more than four decades of experience serving the public, private and non-profit sectors. From 2012-2022, he represented our state’s 10th congressional district in Washington, D.C. There he served on the House Intelligence Committee that led the impeachment investigation. He also served on the Joint Economic Committee and the Financial Services Committee. He was elected Lieutenant Governor in 2020, and has served with distinction in office over the past three years.

Before that, Denny co-founded and served as CEO of TVW, Washington state’s public access television network. And he has also worked to grow many successful small businesses.
